Does Bersica FutureWear contain any harmful chemicals?
No, our clothing is completely safe and free of any harmful chemicals. Furthermore, our clothing meets the Consumer Safety Guidelines in meeting the lead standards and is free of phthalates. The dyes used in our fabrics are free of azodyes, which can be carcinogenic and may cause allergic reactions - they are also not biodegradable and hard to remove from the ecosystem. Also, the finish used does not contain any harmful PFOS chemicals (Perfluorooctane sulphonate) or PFOA chemicals (Perfluorooctanoic acid), which are thought to be harmful to humans and the environment.

How does Bersica Futurewear work?
We use a new finishing technology on our fabrics which provides a natural self-cleaning effect and an extremely high level of liquid and dirt repellence. It is based on nanotechnology. By using nanotechnology it becomes possible to transfer the non-stick and self-cleaning process of certain plants or insects observed in nature onto our fabrics.
How long will my clothing maintain its performance?
For a very long time, following our care instructions will ensure that your clothes will maintain their optimum performance. We have found that using a low heat dry iron will also help maintain your clothing's performance as well.
How resistant is Bersica Futurewear to spills and stains?
Our clothing is extremely resistant to all liquids and stains. Our clothing can tackle all the grape juice, water, fruit punch, ketchup, milk, spaghetti sauce etc. You will see your kid's juice simply run off! If there is any residue from thicker or very oily substances, all you need to do is simply rinse it off with some water and it will clean up. Please note that it is important to not rub in any liquid or substance into the fabric - the key is to shake it off or rinse it off with some water. Remember, that while our product is EXTREMELY resistant to almost everything your child could get into it does have its limitations.

Yes, our clothing is 100% breathable and will not irritate your child's skin.

What is the proper way to wash and care for my Bersica Futurewear?
The best way to wash your Bersica clothing to insure its highest performance is to either machine wash or hand wash with warm water using a mild liquid detergent and hang dry to only. Please DO NOT USE fabric softeners or bleach. We also recommend you use a low heat dry iron (no steam) after the garment is dry. We cannot stress enough how important it is to please not use any fabric softener on your clothing and that liquid detergent is preferred. Do not dry clean.
What substances will penetrate or stain the fabric of the clothing?
Bersica Futurewear is extremely repellent to water, all liquids, oils and dirt. However, just with all things it has its limitations - very heavy oils, such as cooking oil will roll off the fabric but will leave a residue on the fabric. This can be fixed by simply washing the fabric if it has any residue on it. There are other generally heavy substances such as paints and car grease that will stain the fabric.
Will Bersica Futurewear eventually get wet?
Bersica Futurewear is extremely repellent to water and all liquids. Water will penetrate that fabric when it is submerged in it and held under it for a few moments.
