Help Stop Global Warming
Bersica Futurewear believes that it is our moral and social responsibility to help stop global warming. We ask you to take action in helping create a greener planet.

What is Global Warming?
The Earth as an ecosystem is changing, attributable in great part to the effects of globalization and man. More carbon dioxide is now in the atmosphere than has been in the past 650,000 years. This carbon stays in the atmosphere, acts like a warm blanket, and holds in the heat - hence the name 'global warming.'

The reason we exist on this planet is because the earth naturally traps just enough heat in the atmosphere to keep the temperature within a very narrow range - this creates the conditions that give us breathable air, clean water, and the weather we depend on to survive. Human beings have begun to tip that balance. We've overloaded the atmosphere with heat-trapping gasses from our cars and factories and power plants. If we don't start fixing the problem now, we're in for devastating changes to our environment. We will experience extreme temperatures, rises in sea levels, and storms of unimaginable destructive fury. Recently, alarming events that are consistent with scientific predictions about the effects of climate change have become more and more commonplace.

See how Bersica Futurewear is Environmentally Friendly

Bersica Futurewear gets soiled less frequently which means you need to wash less frequently.
Washing machines use about 50 liters of water per cycle, so just imagine just saving one wash...for example, if 40 million households would do this 2 billion liters of water would be saved!

Bersica Futurewear should be washed in cold/warm water (we recommend cold) and requires very little detergent.
You save detergent and materials, since our clothing doesn't get dirty or stained easily. Washing with cold/warm water can save you $65 a year and cut your washer's energy use by 75 percent and cut 100 pounds of CO2.

Bersica Futurewear clothes should be air dried.
This saves 770 pounds of carbon dioxide when you air dry clothing.

According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), the average household dryer consumes 1,079 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, which amounts to 2,224 pounds of carbon dioxide.[1]If every US household let one load of laundry air-dry, 250,000 tons of CO2 could be saved.[2] This is equivalent to shutting down 15 nuclear power plants or cutting back coal use by 30 million tons each year.[3]
